The Duke of Edinburgh´s Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary self-improvement programme supporting personality development and leisure-time activities for young people between the ages of 14 and 25.
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II, established the Programme in 1956.

The Programme's principles consist of positive direction and sensitive motivation for young people who, within a given set of rules, pursue their own personal goals as set by themselves.

INEX-SDA Kostelecké Horky

The czech organisation INEX-SDA Kostelecké Horky has the following aims
- to work with children and young people as well as with their parents and grandparents in a countryside region.To fullfill their leisure time in a sensful way and pass them traditional values of village living style.
- to create environmental education and development programms for both children in schools and adults
- to run eco-advise office

- to propagate volunteerism on all levels of society
- to offer services and advise in project writing and managing in NGO sector especially in countryside regions
