Kırıkkale Province Keskin District Kavurgalı and Kurşunkaya Villages Irrigation Water and Vegetation Pilot Project

Short description: Aim of the Project: To be a model in transition to irrigated agriculture by utilizing the leakage water.

Activities: 5 irrigation pools were constructed in order to utilize the leakage water, an area of 600da. Of new agricultural land was opened to production, pilot fruit and vegetable gardens were established, the villagers were educated on irrigated agriculture, fruitculture and vegetable growing.

The project was done between 2001 and 2003 in Kırıkkale Province Keskin District.
