FILOXENIA is an NGO founded in 1995. It runs a Youth Center and an Environmental Centre in the rural area of Corinthia. It has the aim to support the development of rural areas through the implementation of youth, cultural and environmental projects.
Filoxenia has facilitated the building of youth structures and voluntarism in the whole county of Corinthia. It is situated in the semi-mountainous village of Kryoneri, county of Corinthia. It works on educational, environmental, local development and intercultural projects. Its target groups are: children, youth and local community. It participates to the Youth & Youth in Action program from 1995, and to the Leonardo Da Vinci program from 1997. It coordinates the ECOCITIZENS Pilot Network. |
