Martisorul Ecologic

Short description:
"Martisorul" is a Romanian tradition, through which is celebrated the spring and the rebirth of nature. Therefore, NGO Mare Nostrum has organized in 2008 the event called "Martisorul Ecologic", which has reached now the 4th edition.

This year, "Martisorul Ecologic" has focused on promoting among the citizens of Constanta the benefits we can provide to the environment by recycling the waste that we can reuse in better purposes than throwing it away.

Reciclario

Short description:
From January to June 2007, Vertigem and IPJ (Portuguese Youth Institute) of Leiria developed a project called "Reciclario". Reciclario is a fashion contest for creation of clothes recycling old material.

The objective was to show that from old materials, rubber, plastic and others, you can create fashionable objects.

ECO FORUM (LU)

Short description:
What can we do for a better environment? How can we save
our forests, how can we produce and use energy without wasting? What does it means: “eco-citizen”? - these were the main questions we were talking about, during Eco youth exchange.
Youngsters from 6 European countries have exchanged experiences on Eco-Citizenship.
